Meet the Team
Tammy Baltz started her career in the US as a CPA with Price Waterhouse and then moved into SAP consulting with the Computer Sciences Corporation in the US and Sweden. In 2000, she moved to Hong Kong and worked as an independent consultant. In 2002, Tammy decided to leave the consulting world and began volunteering for several organizations including Helpers for Domestic Helpers, a Hong Kong NGO that provides legal and paralegal advice to domestic workers.
David Bishop is a Principal Lecturer at the University of Hong Kong and Fudan University, Shanghai. David is also the Founder of Soap Cycling, a non-profit employing used hotel soap to enhance the lives of disadvantaged communities around Asia. An attorney by trade, David is constantly searching for commercial solutions to societal problems.
Scott Stiles is the General Manager of FEA and its first employee. While in Hong Kong on an internship in 2012, Scott learned about the many issues facing Foreign Domestic Workers. During his final year of university in the U.S., he created a business model for what is now the Fair Employment Agency. He sent the business model to David who forwarded it along to Tammy. After receiving positive feedback for his plan, he decided to forego a career in finance, move to Hong Kong and pursue FEA.
Jennifer Meehan has focused her career on the empowerment of the most marginalized communities in Asia and beyond, with a focus on business approaches to social change. She worked with Grameen Foundation, a US$20+ million global non-profit organization from 2005 to 2013 where her last role was co-head of Global Programs and Asia Regional CEO. She currently serves as Co-Chair of PathFinders, a HK based charity and Chair of Grameen Foundation India.
The FEA is invested in the future of Hong Kong. To demonstrate this, Fair Employment Agency works with students from The University of Hong Kong. Students provide vital support and innovative ideas to our business and the work we are achieving in Hong Kong. By partnering with universities, we are able to give students internship opportunities that provide leadership roles both within the organization and alongside their peers.
