Employment agencies are required to provide temporary shelter free of charge to workers. If they do not, contact the relevant consulate to complain.

Labour Department’s 24-hour hotline for domestic helpers: 2157 9537.
This hotline provides advice on employment rights and responsibilities, complaints against employment agencies, and support filing for assistance on exploitation or physical abuse situations. An interpretation service in seven languages (Tagalog, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Nepali, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu) is available from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday (excluding public holidays).

Association of Indonesian Migrant Workers in Hong Kong (ATKI-HK)
ATKI-HK offers paralegal counselling, emotional counselling and a hotline service. It can refer workers in need to Bethune House.

Christian Action Ethnic Minorities & Domestic Worker Programme assists domestic workers with understanding their legal rights, assisting with legal proceedings, liaising with the police throughout investigation processes and can help prepare them for tribunal hearings.
To Kwa Wan Service Centre is a free shelter for female domestic workers who become homeless due to unlawful termination or health conditions.
Ngau Tau Kok Service Centre offers paralegal counselling and vocational class enrolment (e.g. computer, Chinese, English and financial literacy).

Mission For Migrant Workers provides paralegal assistance under their Labour and Employment Assistance Programme. They also operate a migrant care centre with access to counselling services and temporary shelters.
